不花心愛音樂沒後台 許紹洋揮霍為榮

偶像劇《薰衣草》捧紅了許紹洋，他除了在《薰衣草》電視原聲帶初試啼聲，更推出首張個人專輯《A1》。
日前來馬拍攝《秋天日記》的他，在滾石唱片安排下特別接受《星洲日報》專訪。
在波德申拍攝現場還頂著飄逸“假”長髮拍殺青戲的許紹洋，翌日在吉隆坡以一頭乾淨俐落的“真”短髮示人，頭髮真假長短並不重要，難得的是許紹洋暢所欲言，談起感情事來毫不忸怩，絲毫沒有偶像派新人的包袱。
許紹洋說自己從小到大沒有值得自豪之處，最自豪的就是“很會浪費錢”。
因為在台灣沒後台，說的也不是自己的語言，卻能闖出一片天空，所以，他說“我是幸運的、努力的，並珍惜眼前的一切。”
因劉德華一席話赴台找機會
大家只看到許紹洋憑《薰衣草》竄紅，卻不知他的星途其實走得並不平坦。
10歲就隨家人移居到美國的他，大學放假回香港時曾被洽談唱片合約，當時本想簽約，卻因爸爸要他先唸完大學，所以簽約一事暫時擱置。
“大學畢業後回香港，碰上1997年香港回歸，唱片公司都不簽新人，我因此苦找機會，找了好幾年。
”他曾在香港中國星訓練班6個月，並參與《全職殺手》的演出，但只覺得自己離唱歌很遠，後來聽劉德華的一席話“要唱歌就得到台灣去”，所以他到了台灣尋找機會。
他表示自己能在台灣演出《薰衣草》是奇怪的際遇，當時他去唱片公司聊唱片合約，結果監製和老板閒聊，他出去拿杯水喝，轉身回來後只覺得他們說的劇情頗吸引，男主角是對音樂執著的歌手，感覺和他很接近。
“我試完鏡後，老板覺得我還不錯，結果就接下這部戲，後來才簽唱片合約。”
執守音樂爸爸靜觀
許紹洋的爸爸是鋼琴家，所以他從小就接觸古典樂。“
爸爸希望我好好的工作，有一份很好的事業，我選擇當藝人，並不是他的第一選擇，但他一直沒強迫我改變一些甚麼。
” 他表示自己當初盲目找機會時，爸爸都看在眼裡。
“他知道我不開心，也知道我熬了很久、很辛苦，雖然他希望我能真正的找份工作，但對我來說，音樂很重要，我不想放棄。”
許紹洋從美國到香港、台灣，一直到如今熬出頭，更因戲劇而有了出唱片的機會，他開心的表示，之前父母就特地從美國飛到台灣，支持他的簽唱會。
“我覺得安慰的是，台灣對我是個陌生的地方，華語也並非我的母語，我不認識甚麼大人物，也沒有甚麼後台，卻能有今日的成績。
我從小到大沒值得自豪的地方，爸爸曾說我，最值得自豪的就是浪費錢。
我以前愛賽車，也贏過，但我從不引以為傲，因為賽車只是興趣，不像現在，我靠個人的努力，努力演、努力唱，擁有了現在的成績，所以我以自己為榮。”
情歌訴情史 封閉療情傷
毫不避忌說感情的許紹洋，表示別人也許覺得他外表花心，但他表示自己絕對不是，也做不出來。
“我從小到大共交過3個女友，第1個交往了4年，第2個只交往了6個月，第3個則3年之久。”
他表示，《希望你還在》講的是第3個女友的故事，而他能找到出唱片的機會，對方功不可沒。
“我最想把這首歌送給她。遺憾的是，我現在有了一點成就，她卻不能在我身邊和我分享。”而以純鋼琴伴奏的《愛情倒退》，他表示製作人曾表示要改歌詞，但他堅持不肯，“因為歌詞很接近我和第2個女友的交往過程，所以我不肯讓他們改歌詞。”
至於他怎樣度過分手的空虛期？“用音樂使自己更慘啊！哈，沒有啦，開玩笑。我不輕易放開，也會封閉自己一段時間。就像歌曲《鬍渣》一樣，試過分手時不剃鬍子，不吃也不出門，畢竟當初是因為愛才在一起，所以一時間很難放得開。”

Lavender won Ambrose Hui widespread popularity.
Besides his studio debut in the original soundtrack of this TV series, he released his first album.
Recently he had come to Malaysia for shooting the movie An Autumn Diary.
By courtesy of Rock Music Group, we had an interview with this rising star.
With his long wig for the final scene in Pont Dickson, on the next day Ambrose showed up in Kuala Lumpur with his true, healthy short hair.
It doesn’t matter whether the hair is short or not.
Worth special remark is his open and forthright attitude for the love stories.
He had everything but the pretension of an idol star.
Ambrose joked that he had nothing to be proud of but “wasting money.”
In Taiwan where he had no resources nor spoke his mother language, he made remarkable achievements.
As a result, “I am lucky, I work hard, and I cherish everything now I have.” He said.

People saw his rocketing popularity after Lavender, not knowing what he had struggled through.
Moving to the United States with his family during childhood, Ambrose returned to Hong Kong in a summer when he was still a college student.
He would have signed a record contract with BMG, but for his father’s insistence on completing his college degree first.
“I went back to Hong Kong after graduation.
It was just the time of Hong Kong’s return to China.
The record companies would not train newcomers.
I had a hard and long time searching for a chance.”
Although he had been trained in China Star for 6 months and participated in Fulltime Killer, he was still very far away from being a singer.
Andy Lau advised him that “Go to Taiwan, if you wish to sing.” So there he went.
Ambrose said it was intriguing to have a chance in TV drama.
He discussed the contract with his manager in the office.
When he went out for water, the TV producer was talking with the manager about the drama. He thought the story was attractive.
The male lead was a singer who loved music, and was similar to Ambrose himself.
“After audition the producer said I look OK, so I participated in it. Then came the contract for the record.”
Father Said Nothing about His Music Dream
Father being a pianist, Ambrose had experience with classic music since childhood.
“Father hoped that I could find a job and have my own career.
He doesn’t force me to change, however, when he knew that I wish to be a singer.”
His father knew very well when Ambrose searched blindly for the chance.
“He knew that I was unhappy and I did have a tough time.
Although he preferred that I look for a regular job, but for me, music is too important to give up.”
From America to Hong Kong and then Taiwan, Ambrose finally made his way; moreover, he released his album because of the success in drama.
His parents had flied from America to Taiwan for his autograph concert.
“I was not familiar with Taiwan, and Chinese is neither my mother tongue.
I didn’t know any big guys, and I didn’t have any resources.
I made it, however. And this makes me rather happy.
I had nothing to be proud of, and my father said it is wasting money, if there is any.
I loved racing before and I also won, but that’s nothing to be proud of, because it is just a hobby. Now I work hard in drama and music, and I made something.
I am proud of myself.”
Sing the Songs, Sing His Loves
Ambrose is open to discussion on his love story.
He said people may think he looks like a playboy, but he is not and will never be.
“I had had three girlfriends so far.
The first was for 4 years, the second, merely 6 months, and the third, three years.”
Wish You Were Here is the story of his third girlfriend, he said.
She was key to his chances in music.
“This song is made for her. It is a pity that she cannot share my achievements with me.”
Love Backwards is a song with pure piano backing.
The producer would have modify the lyrics but for his insistence.
“Because it was so close to the story of my second girlfriend.
I would not allow them to change it.”
Then how did he go through the times when his love was gone?
“Torment myself with music… ha ha, okay, I am kidding.
I would lock my heart for some time, because I cannot forget it so easily.
Like the song Beard, when I broke up with my girlfriend, I didn’t shave or eat or go out of my house.
We were together because I loved her. How can I let go so easily?”
